Ladies riding habit
It's been too long without some pictures here! So I bring you the sidesaddle riding fashions of the late 1800s/early 1900s. (I can't remember where exactly I found these pictures, though.)

ETA: - They're from Corsets and Crinolines.
































Only married ladies wore top hats, so this young lady wore a bowler instead.

Wow, those are really neat. I can't even imagine riding that way, let alone jumping. You'd think it would be so much harder to balance that way. I'd love to try it though!

And look at their tiny little waists!

I never was good at sidesaddle. Call me crude, but I'm for Western all the way. Different times, I suppose :)

Those are beautiful, but I don't know if I could even ride a horse "normal", let alone in a corset :P
